I can't believe you have never heard of this film but just in case it will be totally worth you risking a few pennies to see it. It is funny and heartwarming and the end of the film is very funny indeed. An ex-prize fighter turned longshoreman struggles to stand up to his corrupt union bosses. Mayhem ensues as the two men try to keep their true identities hidden and Spats Colombo and his crew show up for a meeting with several other crime lords. Just get lost in what people used to think was funny, which still is funny, not all this vulgar stuff we have on TV nowadays. The blu-ray transfer, whilst not reference quality, is still very good and much better than the previous DVD print. the collection of evil gangsters is also well cast and the film is shown in the correct format, picture quality not the best but very acceptable.
