Founder Jaques Spreiregen created the name by combining the K from knitting, the ANG from angora, and the OL from wool as we specialised in knitted hats made from those yarns. However, both the Kangol hats fit and the material is really nice. I normally wear X-Large in Kangol caps. "Husband loves it" I determined this by comparing the fit of these new caps to that of the many Kangol caps I have acquired over recent years. I was concerned when reading that, but decided to do what one reviewer recommended--go to Kangol's web site and use their table of sizes to determine the size to order.
