great little film, builds tension very well, even the seagull was a great little touch (you'll have to watch the film, no spoilers) cared for the main character and jumped when i should have. Absolutely superb. If you like shark films with a twist, you'll love this!
I really liked this movie. No shark would be that determined to get a human on a rock, but that is why it is a hollywood MOVIE, not an animal planet documentary. It was very beautifully shot and very differently cinematography. They pulled off the shark being bloodthirsty (heh heh) and animalistic without giving it some crazy agenda. There is some gore when she sews a shark bite in her leg, and we see the nasty wound s few times. Four teen girls diving in a ruined underwater city quickly learn they've entered the territory of the deadliest shark species in the claustrophobic labyrinth of submerged caves. I prefer that kind of ending, so I liked it. I didn't know much about Blake Lively before this came out, so I wasn't sure she could carry the movie like she has to, but I was very pleasantly surprised. And I guarantee that you'll watch it more than once!
