If you have, see it again. 6 out of 9 found this helpful Well, once again, WRONG. Ethan's (Jason Schwartzman) obsession over Angela (James King) is more dark than it is comical, and is a fairly good example of a not so rare obsession which is found in young men in everyday life. I was deceived into thinking it might be good because a couple of my favorite actors are in it. Despite its flaws though I found that on second viewing Slackers became a considerably more respectable movie then I had originally thought.

I'm surprised actor Michael C. Maronna isn't as big as he is because he was funny in this movie. I have to admit, I did chuckle a few times, but I don't even remember what parts they were at. Jaime King and Devon Sawa are the other main stars but they do a rather poor job in this film. Jason Schwartzman was very funny and also Laura Prepon did a very funny performance. I just waited for it to come out on DVD...it's kind of a good thing I did.

the plot has landed. All. It has Mamie Van Doren in a bathtub. Now I want to punch Jason Schwartzman in the face for taking this role.
