Mangal Pandey is a sepoy, a soldier of Indian origin, in the army of the East India Company. This is a film about the leader of the 1857 mutiny and his fight against the British rule. When a village belle's brother is killed by a bandit, she vows revenge and enlists the help of two truckers-cum-theatre artists in her mission. Mangal Pandey is too dull.
