Playing up her sturdiness, her furry dark brows and the wiry unruliness of her old-gold hair, Winslet is the best Emma Bovary I've seen-even if she's named Sarah, not Emma. The story of how the novel "Mrs. Dalloway" affects three generations of women, all of whom, in one way or another, have had to deal with suicide in their lives. Patrick Wilson is also fantastic, giving us a real look into the life of this empty man. It's not necessarily a cautionary tale, but more a look within a surface utopia that doesn't really exist.
