Dear Abby: I have been dating "Jim," a single father of an 18-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter, "Jenna." The language is crass and I'm sure my tweens have heard it before but the sexual innuendos and watching of Mark W and Will F drop their pants and have a comparison of their genitals and wife feeling them was the beginning of several PG 13 situations.

Writing was filler at best, intentionally foul at worst. Went to see Daddy's Home with my daughter and her friend who are 14 years old. Some uses of boobs, tit. It’s a Will Ferrell movie, so you know what you’re getting; you can assume it’s going to be somewhat bawdy and generally over-the-top. I enjoyed it, unlike 69% of the parents. So awful.

Overall, funny, and okay for the whole family. There are two moms that shoplift and think it’s ok. Completely void of redeeming value. I was laughing so hard. All rights reserved. This movie is on par with a Dumb and Dumber......but not as funny. Needless sexual references. There is some drinking when the parents put rim and alcohol in the eggnog. Is masturbation normal at a young age? There is some bad language throughout the film. No consequences. Trailer is better then movie. It would have been nice to be forwarded about the Lakers cheerleaders. but mostly I would say not suitable due to sexual references.Thought this was the best comedy of the year. So when does a kid normally start to masturbate? Then at end of movie low cut dress on mom, feeling inadequate to her ex new wife. The end takes an unnecessary homosexual shot when the boy has a line of girls waiting for a kiss under the mistletoe and then a boy pops his head out from the back of the line and can’t wait to get up there. I loved the first one a lot more. Gibson is a great actor (even if you hate him, you can’t see Braveheart or The Patriot and conclude otherwise,) who decided to do a lighthearted comedy and does a great job delivering a sardonic, sarcastic, somewhat dark yet charming and funny performance, very effectively. And comedic slapstick violence throughout the movie. As said by other parents this movie went really low in such non necessary sex related conversations and scenes. There’s no repercussions for the theft and it sends a lousy message to kids. Again, I laughed a lot, but the lack of parenting was annoying. A few laughs can't save crass Ferrell/Wahlberg comedy.I wish I would of read the reviews on here as I normally do.

Will not be watching #2Daddy's Home is a comedy movie that is crass, but mostly funny... for the mature generation.

13 and up is the average rating.Daddy's Home is a silly movie starring actors Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. A man punches dusty in the face but is brief and no fighting after that. Women showed as very easy to go have sex with, by Mel Gibson..Liked this movie even better than Daddy’s Home...then watched it again, caught a few things I had overlooked and liked it even more. Completely inappropriate...from the language...not just a couple words dropped here and there... to the inappropriate sex & body part references. one use of d**khead. Wahlberg is adept at comedy, able to sincere and ironic, serious and funny, all in the same scene. Hearing p***y several times I drew the line. While it is still crass and some parts may go over kids heads (kids getting drunk, people telling dirty jokes, gay children) the language is not overused, and there is again no sexual content, besides some innuendo. Then the doctor asks dusty (mark whalberg) to come over. He shows his penis to everyone( again, no nudity at all).there is one scene where Brad has his pants down and he opens the window and a bunch of people see his penis(no nudity). The movie has some bad language. It wasn't inappropriate at all yes there was the occasional curse but that was it. There is no sex or nudity in the film. The movie is really bad with a lot of stupid scenes by Will Ferrel. It’s a school year like no other. We walked out what sickness me is the rest of the parents with young children stayed just sick!!! There are many of them specifically when they go see the specialist. I thought the movie was funny, but not appropriately rated. This was rated as a PG but we were so shocked by the sexual references we ended up turning it off. Very disappointing that we weren't warned.Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century.© Common Sense Media. The movie has no sex but there is a scene where the dad is saying how he is going to put a baby in the mom meaning they will have sex. I really cannot believe Will took this script.Went to see Daddy's Home with my daughter and her friend who are 14 years old. Minimal amount of humor did not remotely make up for the movie's crass content. This is not a family friendly movie. We left and went to see Road Chip - way better family flick! The PG rating is deceiving and falls way short of the inappropriate language and subject matter in this film.

We walked out after about 30 minutes. A mild-mannered executive (Will Ferrell) wants to be a great stepfather for his new wife's (Linda Cardellini) children, but competition comes from her colorful, motorcycle-riding ex (Mark Wahlberg). My kids had so much fun. Avoid it at all costs if you are watching with your children or family, very embarrassing all round! The sequel is more family friendly and probably okay for younger kiddos.
