On the outside his character is everything a girl could want if the slightly bad boy with a good heart is what you want, but on the inside he's an obsessive stalker who considers his girlfriend his prey and property. Fear, however, is quite effective for what it is and though nothing about it is top-rate as far as a great Thriller goes, the combined package of what Fear offers still grabs hold of you and pulls you in for the ride. Fast delivery, as always. A high school teacher's personal life becomes complicated as he works with students during the school elections, particularly with an obsessive overachiever determined to become student body president.

Fear is a love story, with a twist.
Mark Wahlberg stars in one of his first features as a hoodlum drug dealer from the wrong side of the trackswho falls in love with Nicole Walker, an upper-middle-class high school girl (Reese Witherspoon). I recommend this as a good film to rent for a "night with the girls" or if you are just in the mood for a thriller with real good looking people.
It's a cheesy and predictable movie, but so enjoyable to watch we don't care.

The only way to describe Fear is it's a not so thrilling thriller. A champion high school cheerleading squad discovers its previous captain stole all their best routines from an inner-city school and must scramble to compete at this year's championships.
