The 2015 Subaru WRX features a turbocharged FA20DIT 2.0 Liter engine. I highly recommend this part if your looking for an easy way to add more throttle response and smoother acceleration. That flutter sound sounds like turbo flutter from a BOV thats too tight and not opening at the right time, why would the BOV flutter? Love it.

Their main functions (preventing compressor surge and utilizing the pressurized air to keep the turbo spooled while shifting) happen when you let off the gas. Don't expect a huge change in noise with a different valveVent boost. There are many protuners out there that will only tune a car if this is the only BPV installed, no other brands.
If it does not fix the problem you are having, keep the stock unit on the car and … BPV's and BOV's dont do anything at WOT...unless they are leaking. Gotta agree with _brian_ here. I like th fact that it doesn’t require a tune. Installation is pretty straight forward; follow Boomba’s video and you should be done in just under an hour. Boomba BPV / Blow Off Valve - 2015+ WRX / 2014-2018 Forester XT. If the spring is too tight it wont increase boost, when you lift off the throttle it just wont be able to flow enough through the bpv and the excess will flutter ie air going back through the turbo.
