We need happy endings now and then... The lead female was clearly overacting when playing the spoiled rich kid. No chase scenes. I guess I'm just gonna have to watch again to get those codes. Believe me, I don't mind. For me it was disappointing on nearly every level. Great story with great actors! Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. The story line was improbable, the filming seemed sometimes amateurish, the music was not very good, and the acting was overdone. The story line is solid and typical. This is the husband writing.
Erica was extremely well-cast and I don't think the film would have been as enjoyable without someone so sincere and compelling. I was surprised and delighted to discover it was a sort of 'coming of age' story. I'm more of an Action and Sci-Fi watcher, so I wasn't expecting to get too much out of it.

I wasn't very happy to see all the drinking and drug use at the beginning of the movie (call me an old fogie), but glad to see it wasn't a theme that continued constantly throughout the movie.
