This is a prime example of an "art of" book done right. Fantastic book that I would recommend to artists or film fans! A book full of beautiful art from every stage of the design process for Rise of the Guardians, from concept sketches to final renderings. For some odd reason it seems like every animated movie I fall in love with I never get to see in the theaters.

Easy to appreciateVery, very beautiful book. The Guardians of Childhood is a series of children's picture books and novels and the inspiration for DreamWorks' Rise of the Guardians adaptation. all from the making and development of Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians. There are sooooo many details we miss in the movie and it's nice to see them detailed here in their glory and the design process behind them discussed.
