On one side, the plot can seem pretty minimal, but the time the film spends between races is incredibly enjoyable. Its safe to say the creators didn't have the plot in mind but if you want to view amazing looking animation featuring an array of innovative cars, aliens and robots participating in races were you can feel the neck breaking speed mixed in with some mad action then this is it.
