He visited his old junior high school looking for actors, and the drama teacher was on the movie set "to keep the students focused". No one can believe it and it becomes a total shocker/upset. If you are a spike lee fan, I highly recommend you view this movie. This is a thought provoking movie based on belief systems, youth, poverty and growing up.

A middle-class boy from Atlanta finds his worldview changed as he spends the summer with his deeply religious grandfather in the housing projects of Red Hook, Brooklyn. It may make you cry (when the secret comes out), but this movie is not a waster. Lee's Music is an important part of the movie. It certainly deserved a better rating than it received.

At first I thought it was bizarre and out of nowhere, however, when a issue like this reveals itself then it is just like that; out of no where.
